Renault just revealed a bizarre and wonderful concept race car in Monaco. This tiny French city car is powered by a 316 hp 3.5L V6 from a Mégane Trophy race car that is mounted, believe it or not, behind the front seats. Yeah, this is a mid-engined supercar, just like your favorite Lamborghinis.

Due to a tube frame, fiberglass body panels, and a carbon fiber aero kit, the Renalt Twin'Run weighs in at only 2,094 lbs, which makes a Lotus look fat. The result is that the tiny hatchback can sprint to 62 mph in only 4.5 seconds and tops out at an electronically limited 155 mph.

Between the fact that it's the hottest hatchback we can think of at the moment, it's it's weird and French, and it has those funky square fog lights, we would love to see a road-legal version of this, but that will never happen.
