A Pittsburgh Bar Is Banning Sam Adams Beer During the Bruins/Penguins Playoff Series

Get it while you can, Pitt fans.

Are you a Pittsburgh resident who enjoys drinking Sam Adamsbeer? If so, you better go and stockpile a bunch of it now. Because in just two days, the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins will square off in Game 1 of the NHL's Eastern Conference Finals. And at least one Pittsburgh area bar is banning the sale of Sam Adams beer for the duration of the ECF. Howler's Coyote Cafe just put up this sign to warn patrons about the ban, which will begin on Saturday when the ECF starts:

We feel bad for the folks who love Sam Adams and will have to wait a week or two to get their beer back. But we absolutely love the stand that this particular bar is taking and hope that other bars in the Steel City will follow their lead. This is the playoffs, people! So please act accordingly.
