A 2003 Ferrari Enzo came within inches of bursting into flames when a 1929 Bentley parked nearby caught fire. The incident happened at RM Auction's Villa Erba event in Como, Italy.

According to reports, the driver of the Bentley aggressively pumped the throttle pedal, causing a wild conflagration to erupt on the undercarriage of the car. The Enzo, parked just a few feet from the Bentley, quickly became engulfed in thick white smoke as the Bentley continued to burn.

Thankfully, RM officials rushed to the scene with fire extinguishers, quickly putting fire out. While the Bentley sustained serious damage, the Enzo emerged with only a thick layer of dust and extinguisher foam - nothing a good detail won't fix.

It later sold for a respectable $1.3 million.
