The BMW M1 is one of the best BMWs of all time. It's got supercar looks combined with race car handling and dragster acceleration. We love nearly everything about it - except for the 'standard issue' cloth seats. On top of that, only 451 examples were made from 1978 to 1981.

This 1980 M1, which will be hitting the auction block on April 27, features a DOHC inline-six-cylinder engine, Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection, five-speed manual transmission, front and rear dual A-arm independent suspension with coil springs, and four-wheel disc brakes.

RM Auctions estimates the car will bring between $150,000 and $200,000.
