There were a lot of weird endings in the NBA last night. We already showed you one involving Jermaine O'Neal and the Suns in Houston. But, there was also another strange finish in Chicago.

With ten seconds remaining in the Raptors/Bulls game and the Bulls trailing by three, a jump ball was called. The jump ball resulted in a wild scramble that ended with Nate Robinson tracking the ball down, throwing it off Amir Johnson to avoid a backcourt violation, and then heaving up a wild half-court shot to try and tie the game. He missed it. But the action didn't stop there.

After the final buzzer sounded, Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas went down with what appeared to be a neck injury. And replays indicated that Valanciunas suffered a freak neck injury during the scrum that took place during the jump ball. Valanciunas had to be taken to the hospital later for treatment because of a "whiplash-like" injury that occurred when he ran into Rudy Gay during that scrum. He appears to be okay now outside of some soreness. But we wish him a speedy recovery.

What a weird night in the NBA.
