By winning the Daytona 500 pole today, Danica Patrick became the first woman to win the top spot for any Sprint Cup race. She clocked in at 45.817 seconds, averaging 196.434 mph. Jeff Gordon was the only one to come close at 196 mph even. He said: "It's great to be part of history, I can say I was the fastest guy today." Hopefully Patrick can get a big win this year and from the looks of it she feels the same saying, "Hopefully, there are good things to come." She's starting the season off on the right foot. Let's see if she can capitalize on this.
