On Monday night, the Internet went nuts after ESPN's Brent Musburger made some questionable comments about AJ McCarron's girlfriend Katherine Webb during the BCS National Championship Game.

"What a beautiful woman," he said as ESPN's cameras captured Webb cheering for the Alabama quarterback. "AJ's doing some things right down in Tuscaloosa. If you're a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with pop."

A lot of people thought the 73-year-old's comments were out of line (the words "pervy" and "creepy" were used in almost every write-up about them). In fact, ESPN got so much flack for them that they issued an apology yesterday afternoon. But, Webb herself appeared on the Today show this morning and revealed that she doesn't think an apology was necessary. She says she was actually kind of flattered by Musburger's comments.

Watch Webb's response above. And then, rewatch what Musburger said about her in the clip below. Do you think ESPN should have apologized for what happened?
