Shortly after one of the best performances of his career, Michael Crabtree married the highs with the lows when he was recently questioned by authorities over a sexual assault allegation which reportedly occurred just hours after the 49ers' win over the Packers last weekend. Even though Crabtree wasn't arrested, as part of the investigation, he was questioned about alleged San Francisco hotel room incident early Sunday by the department's special victims unit with his attorney by his side. The findings will eventually be forwarded to the district attorney's office to determine whether charges should be filed.

The Niners' general manager Trent Baalke released a statement admitting to knowledge of the situation while also reserving any further comment since "the legal process is ongoing."

Crabtree did fly with the team to Atlanta for their NFC Championship Game on Sunday and is expected to play.
