There are about 900 Saabs left unsold, and Ally Financial will be auctioning them off next week. While they are being auctioned to dealers and rental fleets, that does mean that if you have a hankering for some Swedish Saabball your last chance is coming up soon.
The cars are mostly 2011 9-3s and 9-5s, but there are also a few classics in there. For example: a 1970 Sonnett II, a 1985 900 SPG, and a 1966 Quantum IV in addition to a handful of pre-production 9-4Xs.
Since they come with no warranty, people have been buying Saabs for less than half of retail. It's a perfect buy for a guy who has a few spanners in the garage in case of emergency.
