Let's face it, the quintessential British-ness of the Land Rover and the Jaguar brands is a big part of their appeal. The new Land Rover Defender will be the first of either line-up to be built in India, which no doubt offers financial perks over building it in the UK, but will probably scare off some buyers as well.
