Yesterday, all basketball fans rejoiced upon hearing the news that the NBA players and owners reached an agreement to end the lockout. But not every player was happy to hear the breaking news. Toronto guard Leandro Barbosa expressed some disappointment over the new CBA stating "We were planning a big Christmas with family [in Brazil] and I do not think it will happen. It is not yet official, but it's a shame...like it or not, I have a contract to perform [in the NBA] and I have to go back."
We cannot knock Barbosa—who was playing for Flamengo in his home country of Brazil during the lockout—for being upset over not being able to celebrate Christmas with his family. But would does any of this anger have to do with the fact that dude has to go back and play with the Raptors?
