Hold up: Is Al Davis still alive?! If so, then this trade that the Raiders just made for Carson Palmertotally makes sense. They're reportedly sending their 2012 first-round draft pick and a conditional 2013 draft pick that could also become a first-rounder to the Bengals in exchange for Palmer. Palmer, of course, infamously said that he'd rather retire from the NFL than ever take another snap for Cincy.
If not, doesn't it seem like Oakland is giving up just a bit too much for a guy who didn't do shit for the Bengals last year? Like, doesn't this seem like a crazy trade that only Al would make?
