At least two former NFL players aren't happy to see Tiki Barber trying to get a second chance to make an impact on the league. During a recent episode of The Rich Eisen Podcast, both Warren Sappand Barber's former teammate Michael Strahan took shots at Barber and his comeback attempt. "No, stop it, enough is enough, brother, enough is enough," Sapp said. "I didn't think much of him when he did play."
Strahan agreed—and went a step further. "Sapp is 100 percent right," he said. "If it comes to playing football, he can play...[But] his impact was to kind of throw some guys under the bus, including the coach [Tom Coughlin] who taught him how not to fumble, and a quarterback [Eli Manning] who was young and just needed to learn, and obviously a quarterback who's quiet and not the rah-rah guy...Why would you do that?"
Sounds like the road to redemption is gonna be a long one, Tiki. [via USA Today]
