So, does that mean he's going to stay on the team and play in it?

Deron Williams has only been playing ball on the East Coast for a couple of months now, but it already seems like he's making himself right at home. On Thursday, Williams—who was traded to the Nets in February and will be a free agent in 2012—made his way over to Brooklyn to check out the brand-new Barclay Center, which the Nets will play at full-time soon. And as it turns out, he loves the idea of playing inside of it. "This place will be a baller's paradise," he wrote on his Facebook page. "It's cool to see the beams up. You hear about how it's going to look and how it's going to be finished. But it's good to come and see how the progress is."

And then he said something that's sure to rip out the hearts of Knicks' fans everywhere, who want Williams to sign with them after next season. "This is in the heart of the city," he said. "It's kind of like the Garden. It's the same feel. It's special." Damn. Someone make sure the Knicks' other '12 target Chris Paul stays the hell out of Brooklyn, please, okay? [via NJ]
