Among those in life who need “high security”, BMWs have been a top choice in transport for quite some time. That’s because armored versions of some of its top models have proven quite responsive under high-stress, evasive maneuvers. However none of that means much if you don’t know how to drive.
Enter what sounds like the most interesting driving school we’ve heard of yet. Located in East Germany, BMW runs a security vehicle training facility on one of the largest Cold War air bases in Europe. The center, run by driving instructor Klaus Heimerl, teaches chauffeurs and bodyguard types how to safely evade hazards from IEDs to organized ambushes. Up for a new line of work?
