The Germans and the Dutch might be bitter rivals when it comes to football, but on a style front they easily put aside their tribal differences to create some truly magical stuff. This is evident from the Puma x Filling Pieces Blaze of Glory collaboration.

Known for merging streetwear with high-end, luxury fashion Amsterdam-based label Filling Pieces have worked with the German sportswear brand to put a unique spin on the popular Blaze of Glory model. It's been stripped down and rebuilt using Filling Pieces’ lavish materials and their intricate attention to detail, therefore resulting in a luxury take on the sneaker.

Details include a stripped down toebox that leaves a clean, slimmer shape made from high quality woven leather, a singular nubuck overlay and a large elastic strap across the vamp, all of which sits on top of a white midsole. More subtle details include bronze tip laces, a joint Filling Pieces and Puma motif on the tongue and a mesh construction around the ankle.

The Puma x Filling Pieces Blaze of Glory will be launching Saturday July 30  in select retailers including; END, Hanon, Footpatrol, Oki-Ni and Harvey Nichols for £140.
