It's not often that an Air Jordan 1 style touches down overseas without much word of a stateside arrival, especially in the era when Jordan release dates are usually confirmed long in advance. Breaking the rule though is this pair, a black/white one from the so-called "Yin Yang" pack.
The sneaker is of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG persuasion, which means it has "Nike Air" branding instead of Jumpman logos.
This pair, along with its white counterpart, has already released in Japan. Release date info was up in the air for a minute, but stateside sneaker chains now have both pairs listed as launching on Aug. 6.
