Supreme'supcoming Nike Air Max collaboration still doesn't have an official release date, and if you want to get your hands on a pair before they drop, you just might have to spend rent money.

At least, that's the case at Flight Club, where a lone size 8 in the Yankees-esque "Obsidian" colorway is priced at a whopping $1,200. If you're wondering why they're priced so high, there are a few variables to consider. The most obvious factor is that they're still unreleased, so whoever put these up for consignment is hoping that someone will pay a premium to get the pair early.

Secondly, this is the only colorway and size that the store has on hand, so the scarcity alone is enough to drive up the price at least a few hundred dollars from what it would normally be. Lastly, although you can find a pair on eBay for less, buying sneakers before their official release often means that you'll be dealing with less-than-reputable sellers, so you'll pay more at Flight Club for the reassurance that you're getting an authentic pair.

With that in mind, it's still probably better to go ahead and wait it out for these.
