Minnesota Timberwolves' Zach LaVine won the NBA Dunk Contest for the second year straight in a mean pair of PE Nike Hyperdunk 2015 Lows, but as nice as those were, these custom Js he just received might be even better.

This pair is the work of Salvatore Marcum—also known as @mpls_customs—and while they may look like a simple Timberwolves-themed colorway from a glance, it's the attention to detail that makes these truly special. Using the "72-10" Jordan XI as its base, these customs feature a lightning print detail on the patent leather overlay and a royal blue Jumpman and outsole.

At the heel, a removable Velcro page pays respect to LaVine's former coach, the late Flip Saunders. And that's still not everything, as these are finished off with graphic insoles depicting each of LaVine's winning slam dunks.

It looks like these are strictly a one-off for LaVine, but you can check out the rest of Marcum's work here.
