Every Saturday new Air Jordans release and people faithfully line up outside of sneaker stores to cop a pair. Unfortunately, these releases don't always go without a hitch like one would hope as violence is an ever-present issue in sneaker culture. Today, two people were shot in the parking lot of a Foot Locker in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.

According to Fox 9, the shooting happened around 10 a.m. when a man was leaving the Foot Locker location after purchasing a pair of the newly-released "Vivid Pink" Air Jordan XIIs. Another man fired shots and he returned fire. In the process, two people were hit, leaving one in critical condition. It is reported that the altercation began with someone spitting on another inside the Foot Locker.
