As sneaker fans around the world celebrate Air Max Day, NikeLab has cooked up a special Air Max 1 to help celebrate the occasion.
NikeLab takes the iconic model to new levels with its deconstructed upper, buffed midsole, leather wrapped heel, and a synthetic suede upper. The shoe comes in two colorways - Black and Linen - and is officially known as the NikeLab Air Max 1 Royal. This release marks the first in the "Royal Series" which appears to be a collection of NikeLab releases that takes aim at giving premium upgrades to classic silhouettes. Fans looking to secure the AM1 Royal can do beginning today as the shoe is is slated to officially drop at NikeLab locations as well as nike.com. Retail is set at $250.
