There is no John Elliott x adidas NMD Runner in the works. Earlier this evening, an image was shared on the internet indicating a possible collaboration. We have since confirmed that the image was indeed fan art and not an actual collaboration announcement.

The adidas NMD Runner has been one of the hottest models in the sneaker game since it's debut and if this latest rumor is true, there's going to be another NMD model that fashionistas and sneakerheads will both be clamoring to get.
An image was recently published by Japanican that indicates that John Elliott and adidas have a possible NMD Runner collaboration in the works. The image has text that indicates the shoe as being part of Elliott's "Running Through Vietnam" Spring/Summer 2016 collection yet there has been no previous information or lookbook images indicating a collab was in the works. Additionally, considering Elliott's heavy usage of Nike product - including his own NikeiD LeBron 12 and most recently the Nike Air Max Uptempo - in his lookbooks and runway shows, this collab would certainly be a surprising one.
Was this image made from someone's wishful thinking or could this collab be a reality? If it's the latter, it'll be one of the most coveted sneakers of the season. Stay tuned for more information.
