Converse has, and will always, remain synonymous with the old school—because there’s no school greater—but that doesn’t mean that they can’t pull something out of the bag that will resonate with a new generation. In fact Converse have been reinventing the wheel and breaking conventions since their humble beginnings back in 1908, all while still remaining loyal to their heritage. Last weekend, the iconic sports wear label paid tribute to their equally iconic One Star model with the release of the all-new 'Hairy Suede' edition.
With a focus on premium materials the sneakers are constructed from hairy suede (as the name would suggest) and feature a Nike Lunarlon sockliner for cushioning, lightweight traction rubber outsole for an improved grip and a higher foxing tape so it delivers a more timeless, clean appearance.
