Between Lionel Messi's fifth Ballon d'Or win and the brand's first-ever laceless boot, it's already been a huge year for adidas Soccer, and now the Three Stripes continues to make waves with the news that it's signed Paul Pogba.

According to Tribal Football, an Italian newspaper has confirmed a ten-year deal between the 22-year-old Juventus midfielder and adidas to the tune of €40 million, which is right around $44 million USD.

The site goes on to explain that prior to the deal, Pogba was one of the only top tier players in today's game without a high profile endorsement. This extended free agency is what allowed Pogba's agent to initiate a bidding war between adidas and Nike before settling with the Three Stripes.

It remains to be seen if Pogba will get his own boot, but we'd be surprised if he didn't. In the meantime, check out a clip of his footwork in "Oxford Tan" Yeezy Boost 350s below.
