At first, we thought this was mere speculation but we can fully confirm that Nike have linked up with Skepta for his very own Air Max Classic BW collaboration. The reveal came in form of a series of Instagram posts from the BBK MC's account, and also Logan Sama. Turns out Skepta paid a visit to Nike's HQ in Portland, Oregon, almost a year ago to design his own pair of BWs, which he revealed on the 'gram today. He states in one of the posts:

“49 weeks ago I went to the Nike HQ in Portland, Oregon and sat with senior designer to talk about air max. Today I'm happy to present the Blacklisted Air Max BW, thank you @NJobe for seeing the vision and making my dream come to life. 💫”

On first glance, it seems that he's gone for a simple but effective all-black colourway, featuring an all-suede/nubuck materialisation throughout the upper. The Air Max Classic BW is particularly important within grime, as it was worn by Dizzee Rascal on the cover for his debut—and Mercury award-winning—album, Boy In Da Corner.

In each of the posts, Skepta has hashtagged #BlacklistedBW—likely a nod to his 2012 album of the same name—and Logan Sama revealed on his own Instagram account that the 'Blacklisted' BW will be available to the general public soon.
