After putting on a thrilling show during the NBA Dunk Contest, Aaron Gordon has been on a tear — literally. Last night, during Orlando's 124-115 win over Philadelphia, Gordon continued to deliver highlight-worthy dunks, but he also experienced a slight sneaker malfunction along the way.

Gordon was rocking the Nike Zoom HyperRev 2016, the same shoes he wore during the Dunk Contest. Unfortunately, things didn't go quite as smoothly last night, as Gordon's sneakers completely split open at the toe, leaving the insole hanging out like a young Michael Jordan's tongue

This isn't the first on-court sneaker mishap, and it surely won't be the last, but it's pretty surprising to see this happening to a brand new pair, especially a model that is touted as one of Nike's high performance basketball shoes. Nevertheless, you can try out the Zoom HyperRev 2016 for yourself for $110 from Nike.com.
