New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz's debut signature sneaker with Nike made headlines last year, and fans of the all-new silhouette have already been treated to multiple releases. With just a couple of scheduled drops left, this weekend's "Black/Crimson" release appears to be the most personal edition of the bunch. "In Memory of MIKE" is embroidered on the inside of the mid-strap, as a tribute to Cruz's late father.
In addition to the message on the strap, this sneaker also features a number "3" on the inside of the tongue, in honor of the fire fighter ladder that his father belonged to. While all of the colorways of the Nike Air Trainer Cruz are likely very special to Cruz, there is no doubt that this one probably means the most.
This sneaker releases this Saturday, for $150.
