With "Air Max Day" day just a couple of months away, Nike appears to be getting a head start on the celebration by releasing an all-new colorway of the Air Max Zero. Air Max enthusiasts will recognize this model as the original sketch for the game-changing Air Max 1, re-imagined with some of Nike's new technologies and materials.

This O.G. 80s' creation by Tinker Hatfield debuted last year, and now sports a bold yellow, black, and white colorway, which is very similar to the original sketch. Other notable details include Tinker Hatfield's signature and a number representing the pair's spot in this release on the insoles. If Nike is already dropping rare Air Max sneakers like this, it leaves us wondering what the Swoosh has up its sleeve for March's Air Max Day.

This sneaker will release exclusively on Nike's SNKRS app on Jan. 21.
