They're back once again. After breaking down the most valuable sneakers on eBay for Q1, Q2, and Q3 of 2015, the team of Highsnobiety, Campless, and Kickposters have reunited to finish off the year's top earners.

Before we address the single most valuable sneakers, let's take a look at the shoes that were the highest-grossing overall. If you've been keeping up with recent sales trends, you know that Air Jordans aren't selling out quite like they used to, but this is proof that the lack of retail enthusiasm hasn't made much of a dent in eBay sales.

Sitting atop the total dollars spent rankings is the "72-10" Air Jordan XI, a make up that some sneakerheads had the nerve to write off as a flop just because it wasn't an instant sell-out. As you'll see above, the "72-10" XIs raked in just shy of $1.5 Million, with the "Moonrock" Yeezy Boost 350s and "Triple Black" Yeezy 750 Boosts trailing behind at $1,198,704 and $1,183,538, respectively. Meanwhile, six of the remaining seven slots are occupied by Jordan Brand footwear — what was that about the Yeezy jumping over the Jumpman again?

On the other hand, when it comes to sneakers with the highest average resell prices, the Yeezy didn't just jump over the Jumpman, it took off from the free-throw line and left it in the dust. The "Triple Black" 750s averaged an insane $1,876 per pair and were trailed closest by Ronnie Fieg's "Homage" ASICS Gel-Lyte III. Next is two more Yeezy 350s colorways, while the first Jordan sneaker, the Public School x Air Jordan XII collaboration, doesn't appear until the number six slot at an average price of $614.

Depending on how you look at it, these numbers can present two very different scopes of today's sneaker resell market. Either way, it's clear that the Air Jordan hype isn't over just yet. Stay tuned to find out how things play out in 2016 and visit Highsnobiety for the complete feature.
