After treating sneakerheads to the "Holy Grail" of Nike SB collaborations last year, Cambridge, Mass., sneaker store Concepts has something special on deck for its 20th anniversary.

Pictured here is the Concepts x Nike Free Trainer 1.0, a project that uses one of Nike's most daring sneakers as its canvas. The Free Trainer 1.0 boasts Nike's thinnest Free sole, allowing athletes to feel the ground beneath their feet like never before.

For this particular collab, Concepts played up the sports science tech with a heat map-inspired upper and heat-reactive tongues that actually change color when exposed to warmth. Whether you rock them to the gym or in the streets, these Free Trainer 1.0s are sure to make a statement.

This collaboration drops on January 16 at Concepts locations in store as well as online. Stay tuned, because we have a feeling this is only the beginning of what you can expect from Concepts as its 20th anniversary continues.
