After a vague teaser over the weekend, London's Palace Skateboards has just unveiled its next adidas sneaker collaboration.

It turns out that this sneaker's actually called the Palace C.M. Boost, not the Boost Flex. For this collab, Palace looked to the soccer pitch for a modernized take on adidas' legendary Copa Mundial boot.

Known for its form-fitting Kangaroo leather upper, the Copa Mundial may seem like an odd source of inspiration at first, but don't forget that Palace's first adidas sneaker was partially inspired by the Gazelle, an indoor soccer shoe.

Down low, the Palace C.M. Boost sticks with the same Pure Boost-powered midsole seen on the brand's adidas collab from November for unmatched comfort.

Available in simple black and white-based colorways, the Palace x adidas Palace C.M. Boost drops in London on Wednesday, December 16 followed by an online release on Friday, December 18
