The Nike Kobe 11 unveiling went down just days ago, and now we're already getting an early look at what the brand has in store for the Black Mamba's next sneaker.

@J23app dropped info and official Nike images for Bryant's next shoe, which is reportedly called the Kobe Zoom Icon. Picking up where previous Kobe take-down models like the KB Mentality and Venomenon line left off, this sneaker steps away from the traditional Kobe design language for a build that looks like something you might find on an old Gary Payton sneaker

Based around the midsole and outsole tooling of the Zoom Kobe VI, the Kobe Zoom Icon's upper features a shroud that almost looks like a direct transplant from sneakers like the Zoom Flight '98 "The Glove," the Zoom GPline, or the more recent Air Jordan XX8.

Thus far, images of "Metallic Gold" and "Black/White" colorways have surfaced, the former of which is set to hit stores on January 15. More details should be available soon.
