For years, sneaker fans complained about the poor quality of new Air Jordan retros, and the brand finally started to take notice by releasing "remastered" pairs. So far, there has been a noticeable difference in the quality, and 2016 looks to bring more of the same. One pair we didn't expect to see drop is the "Chutney" 13, which has never retro'd after its 1998 release.

DeadstockNYC took to Twitter to share a photo of what appears to be a workshop table of different Air Jordan remastered samples. Included amongst the recently released "Aqua" VIII and upcoming "Maroon" VI, is the right sneaker of the classic '90s 13 colorway. The photo was captioned with "The Remaster continues. #TakeFlight," which could be hinting at a 2016 release. While there is no official date yet, it's exciting to see the brand digging deep in the vault with rare colorways.
