A tragic tale of sneaker violence is coming out of Seattle, Wash., as police say a 14-year-old girl was killed over her Air Jordans. Somehow, that's not even the worst part.

King5 reports that the girl's 24-year-old uncle, Si Phu, is the prime suspect in the case. Another one of the girl's uncles, Sam Phu, says his brother intended to take the teenager's Michael Jordan sneakers and sell them for drug money. She refused to hand them over, and that's when the 24-year-old allegedly shot her in the head.

"That's my niece, she's only 14 years old, man. And he shot her for how much, $20? $40? How much?," Sam Phu said. "Young kid's shoes, what he take it for? He's her uncle."

Now, police are seeking Si Phu, who was previously convicted on cyberstalking charges earlier this year. "Whoever sees him, call the police right away for me," Sam Phu said.
