Star Wars and Kanye West have some of the most rabid fans in the world.
Recently, both parties have enjoyed highly publicized releases with Star Wars fans gobbling up all new collectibles as well as clamoring to be amongst the first to buy presale tickets to next month's The Force Awakens. West fans, on the other hand, have quickly snatched up adidas Yeezy Boost releases all year long as well paying the steep prices of his apparel collection.
So what would happen if these two worlds collided? Well, besides absolute hysteria, you'd have the potential for something pretty cool. Artist mbroidered - has previously recreated vintage adidas ads to feature Kanye West as well as mashups of classic soccer cleats - recently reimagined a trio of the most recognizable and beloved characters in the Star Wars universe wearing all three pairs of West's adidas signature models.
Luke Skywalker appears wearing the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost, C-3PO dons the Boost 350, and Boba Fett looks right at home rocking the 950 Boot. Star Wars and adidas are quite familiar with one another having produced collaborative product over the years including a collection of Star Wars graphics and options which was made available to fans for use on mi adidas this year. So is there a chance of a Star Wars x adidas Yeezy? Sure. Is it likely? Doubtful. But if it were to become a reality, the publicity and demand would probably be insane.
