Former NBA baller Richard Hamilton may be retired, but it's a known fact that he still has strong plug at Jordan Brand. While he regularly stunts on Instagram with exclusive Air Jordans months before they drop, this time he showed off a sneaker with more significance – the Air Jordan III "True Blue."

Hamilton took to Instagram to show off his very special "True Blue" IIIs. He says, "Best pair of sneakers in my collection. He didn't want to take them off his feet and give them up after the game but I had 30 and we got the Win. So he had no choice."

Receiving sneakers after defeating an older Michael Jordan could've symbolized the passing of the torch to another Jordan Brand athlete or a simple nod to Hamilton's performance. Either way, being a part of the Jordan Brand family surely does have its perks.
