Nike has just opened a new running concept store in the heart of Tokyo. Specifically, it's in the neighborhood of Kichijoji, whose residents are known for their discerning taste when it comes to shopping, according to Nike.

With this in mind, the brand pulled out all the stops to make Nike Kichijoji an immersive experience that runners will definitely want to add to their bucket lists.

The beautiful two-story, 5,400-square foot space houses some of Nike's elite running products and sneakers, along with a number of services like one-on-one coaching, in-store treadmills, styling, and more.

To bring the space to life, Nike tapped a local artist by the name of Shun Sasaki to add an authentic Tokyo feel to Nike's traditional sport messaging.

"We are extremely excited that Nike Kichijoji is our first running experience store in Tokyo. At Nike, we love to run. We want this store to be an invitation for Tokyo to come run with us," Heidi O’Neill, VP/GM of Nike Stores, said.
