Way back in 2011, Nike introduced a new upper construction known as Vac Tech. Since then, its appearances have been few and far between, with the most recent being one of the women's "Sweet Schemes" releases, but now the brand is bringing it back on two of the very best Air Max silhouettes.

Previewed here are new Vac Tech versions of the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 in "Gorge Green" colorways. Above, the Air Max 90 takes on a full Vac Tech build, making use of the shell-like synthetic on the entirety of the upper. Black accents fill in the tongue and heel logos and liner, while an off-white midsole and translucent gum outsole complete the wintry look.

Meanwhile, the Air Max 1 opts for a slightly more restrained use of Vac Tech, with a black leather toe and mudguard backed by the green seamless material. Black extends to the midsole and like the 90s, these are finished with a gum outsole.

Both of these Air Max Vac Tech QS are set to arrive at overseas retailers on December 4, which means a U.S. release will likely follow in the weeks to come.
