We're used to seeing basketball players lacing up heat on an every game basis, but that hasn't always been the case on the gridiron. Traditionally, players would wear a pretty standard team colorway and that would be it, but the growing popularity of custom kicks has changed the game for cleats now, too.
Nice Kicks has been documenting the best cleats worn on the field for awhile now, and its latest episode of "#GridironKicks" shows just how serious football players have become about their cleats. While the video highlights cleats from all levels, including high school and college, the best ones are coming from the NFL. Included amongst the top are both PE versions and custom cleats, showing that your sneaker game doesn't have to stop when you take the field.
