Recently, we've heard stories of girlfriends and wives wanting their significant others to give up their sneaker addictions altogether (absurd, right?), but what about the ones who are willing stick by our sides and tolerate our ridiculous habits through the thick and thin?

Complex contributor Nick Grant penned a story for Sole Collector about his wife who does just that. As you'll learn, it's not always pretty, and the couple definitely doesn't always see eye-to-eye, but at the end of the day, she might just be a little bit jealous.

"We share a love of shoes  — although I've become much more realistic in my habits than you have," Grant's wife said.

She seems to be especially annoyed by the expensive price tags, piles of empty shoe boxes, and his obsession with keeping his kicks clean, but there are also plenty of things she admires, like his ability to flip a pair for far more than their retail price.

"She learned this fairly early on considering they basically fully-funded an engagement ring. She was dumbfounded by the amount of money I was able to procure through selling my sneakers," Grant says.

We don't want to spoil the rest, so head over to Sole Collector now to read all of their thoughts on the matter.
