When he's not making defensive backs look silly, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is more than likely wearing a pair of great sneakers. Now he has his own pair: the Nike Air Trainer Cruz.
Cruz's sneaker takes cues from past Nike Football models and turns them into a lifestyle design that's perfect for 2015 and beyond. There's a midfoot strap and a midsole that's reminiscent of Bo Jackson's signature series, while there are four colorways — Haystack, Wolf Grey, Black/Crimson, and Rush Blue — that are set to roll out over the next few months.
Each shoe has "Dance to Greatness" written on the inside of the midfoot strap, while the Black/Crimson pair reads, "In Memory of Mike," which pays tribute to Cruz's father who passed away. There's also a number "3" on the inside of the tongue, paying homage to the firefighter ladder that his father was a part of.
For now, take a look at some detailed photos of the sneakers.
