As new models like the Air Presto are added to the NIKEiD platform, the brand's making room by removing some of the most popular customization options, including the "Pony" uppers of the Air Max 90.

Introduced last April, this popular option allowed sneakerheads to deck out the Air Max 90's upper in a variety of pony hair-based patterns including spotted, leopard, zebra, and cheetah. This opened up the possibility to emulate popular runner colorways like the "Animal Pack" Air Max range, but now the plug is about to be officially pulled.

According to Sneakers Addict, the pony option will be removed next week on October 19. The good news is that this leaves you plenty of time to whip up a design before it's too late. Get your last-minute orders in now for $170 here.
