We've seen some prettycrazycustomsneakers in 2015, but this latest project is proof that sometimes all you need is a simple concept and the right execution to stand out from the rest.

Randy the Cobbler of Tempe, Ariz., — who we previously wrote about in May  —  recently converted a pair of "Military Blue" Air Jordan IVs into bowling shoes at the request of one of his customers. This custom puts an emphasis on function over form, as there are no unneeded bells and whistles here.

"Minor changes [have been made] to these Air Jordans but the most significant being the stitched chrome suede half soles," he wrote.

There's no word yet on how well they performed on the lanes, but then again, does your score really matter when you're stunting this hard?

Check out more of Randy the Cobbler's work on his Instagram page.
