The Nike Air Flight 89 has long been compared to the Air Jordan IV, because of the year it released and the design similarities that the two sneakers share.. With these two sneakers sharing such a close design and history, it makes sense that Nike dressed up the Air Flight 89 in one of the most popular Air Jordan IV colorways ever. Instagram user Calvin Nguyen showed off his sample pair of Nike Air Flight 89 "Bred" on Instagram, and it has a lot of people hoping they release.

Fans of the Air Jordan IV "Bred" won't be disappointed in the job Nike did with these. This shoe borrows the IV's white, grey, black, and red colorscheme for a finished product that perfectly executes the "Bred" colorway. The Air Jordan inspiration doesn't stop there though, the midsole also features cement print that is common on Air Jordan III and IV models.

There is no word on a release date yet, but these will be a great consolation prize for anyone who missed out on the IVs.
