The New Balance 1500, specifically if it's made in Made in England, is a true fanatic sneaker. Run into someone who's a fan of the model, and you're going to get an earful about how great the silhouette is and how much it's changed over the years. One of those guys is Matt Kyte, who's taken his love for the 1500 and turned it into project that's illustrated some of the best versions of the sneaker.

"The short story is I started this around 2008 to document every 1500, when NB announced the shoe would be stopping production forever," Kyte says. "Obviously that never happened, and here we are now where I am about to retire the archive itself as it's getting too tedious to update, and, frankly, most of the stuff coming out nowadays isn't exactly enthralling."

Kyte has produced a print of his favorite 1500s, and it includes not only sought-after collaborations from Crooked Tongues, Solebox, and 24 Kilates, but also some of the better general-release versions, too.

Each print is 594mm x 420mm and printed on 100 percent cotton rag German etching paper. To get your hands on one of these, email matt@mkyte.com. The price is $100.
