If you're still feeling some type of way over the news that Chris Paul's "Green Suede" Jordan CP3.IXs are a friends and family exclusive, this should be enough to cheer you up. The latest CP3 model has been officially unveiled today and we're pleased to report that it looks great despite the absence of the premium materials.

Updated with a focus on control and stability, the Jordan CP3.IX makes use of a new web-lacing setup that provides both lateral support and 360-degree lockdown for Paul's quick cuts and transitions on the floor. Down low, a nine-chamber Zoom Air unit allows players to think quick on their toes, just like Paul, while the outsole has been tweaked for improved traction.

As usual, a number of personal details have been hidden throughout the shoe, including the Chinese character for "family" on the outsole and a dragon graphic at the heel to represent the Chinese New Year.

The Jordan CP3.IX is set to hit the States in "Emerald" on October 1 for $130, while the "Yellow Dragon" makeup will be exclusive to China. In the meantime, the CP3.IX has officially launched on NIKEiD, where you can customize it with elephant print, dragon scales, and argyle for $175
