Two teenagers from Denver, Colo. got more than they bargained for after arranging a sneaker deal through Facebook.

KDVR reports that brothers Antonio and Jordan were planning to fund their college expenses by selling sneakers. The two teens met their buyers in broad daylight across from a local high school, seemingly taking all the proper precautions. But it wasn't enough, as they were met by a group of four men, two of whom were armed, that robbed them of the unnamed sneakers.

"As I went to put the shoes on top of the car, the guys friend came up and punched me in the face. So I fell to the ground, because I felt that was the safest thing for me to do, instead of getting hit more," one brother said. "As I fell to the floor, one of the other friends came up and took my phone out of my pocket."

"While all this was going on, I was sitting in the passenger seat, and the guy pointed a gun at me and said, 'Give me your shoes,' and at that point, I said, 'Just take the shoes,'" the other victim said. Can you really blame him?

The brothers fled to nearby Manual High School, which was briefly placed on lockdown while police searched the area. As of this writing, they're still looking for the four suspects in the robbery.
