adidas Is Letting People Buy Sneakers Straight From Twitter

Welcome to the future.

Last summer, Twitter rolled out a new feature known as Collections that allowed brands to sell their products through an integrated shopping page and today, the rebranded "Buy Now" platform welcomes adidas to the fold.

"We've been a long time partner of Twitter and this is the latest step in working together to innovate our social shopping and commerce experience," an adidas executive said.

Powered by a service called Stripe Relay, Buy Now will allow adidas to sell sneakers and apparel directly within its Tweets. It's all about efficiency, allowing customers to make quick and easy purchases without navigating through product pages or dealing with complicated payment forms.

A source at adidas tells us the brand's Buy Now option will be introduced across its accounts soon, but for now, take a look at what you can expect below. Hopefully, they can get the wills in motion before the next Yeezy release.
