Since its reintroduction in 2013, the Stan Smith has become a full-fledged fashion sneaker with a number of high-end inspired versions of the staple silhouette. From luxurious Made in Germany releases to collaborative designs from the likes of Pharrell Williams, it's the sneaker that just doesn't stop. Still, despite the ground it's covered thus far, adidas may have found a way to make the most premium pairs yet.

Both the traditional Stan Smith and the Stan Smith Mid have undergone Horween Leather makeovers for this collection, and truthfully, they've never looked better. Each silhouette is built with a deconstructed single piece leather upper and accented by buttery suede hits at each heel, where a gold foil adidas Originals logo adds an extra touch of elegance. A white midsole and laces complete the look.

The Horween Leather Company was founded in 1905 and remains one of the oldest tanneries in the U.S., so it definitely knows a thing or two about quality. This particular natural leather will break in and patina just like a pair of Hender Schemes, so the more you wear them, the better they'll get.

The Stan Smith Horween Leather Pack will drop October 9 for $150 (Low) and $160 (Mid).
