Acronym doesn't play by the rules, but that much should be clear by now. Following the official unveiling of its NikeLab Lunar Force 1 collection, we've caught wind of another insane silhouette from the German brand thanks to Sole Collector

Officially known as the Acronym x Nike Air Force 1 Downtown, it's safe to say that these are unlike any AF1s you've seen before. For starters, the ankle cut is higher than ever, resulting in a boot-like look reminiscent of Riccardo Tisci's extra-high tops. And that's only the beginning, as these have also been kitted out with wild features like buckles, straps, and zippers.

According to the source of the images, @tier0nyc, this could be the only version of this sample in existence, as it promises you won't see these for sale again. Although that remains to be determined, it's likely that this could have been a sample that was left on the cutting room floor. Would you cop if they made it to production?
